Pros

The home office is great!

Working from home is as normal as work in the office.

  • Competitive salary
  • Nice people
  • Great projects over all sectors
Cons

Nothing is free there. You have to pay for your tea, coffee, snacks, lunch, etc.

Bureaucratic and slow back-office. For example, if you need a new machine or even a peripheral, it may take a while to be provided, besides the online forms you have to fill out and get approvals for.

Seems they don't have the culture to sponsor employees to attend technical events.

Advice to Management

It's amazing how IBM has been reinventing itself and how the leaders are driving the company to solve the most challengeable problems of the world (and beyond, considering the involvement in space projects).

It's such an honour to be part of IBM! I'm proud to be an IBMer.

My advice to management is: IBM has arrived where it is thanks to the great minds that compose the company. I know you can do better. Provide at least a free coffee :)
