Global company. Excellent opportunities to learn. Design thinking.
Hour management is terrible, with 3 systems that don't communicate with each other.
IBM Notes still exists, and you are forced to use it.
Several meetings should be an email.
If you are good, you won't be able to move to other opportunities.
IBM has the ability of retaining terrible IBMers.
Use new methodologies, like Agile.
It was a process of several months and 4 interviews, two with HR and two technical interviews with a client from the EU. There were many unnecessary protocols and procedures. I was not informed that I would be subjected to a drug test.
The IBM interview was quite interesting. They asked me questions from almost every section, including Java, Spring Framework, the deployment process, and Linux. They also asked a few coding questions, which were quite straightforward yet tricky.
Applied via employee referral. The first round was technical. It was a half-hour interview process. Very direct questions were asked, mostly "what" and "how" types on Java, Collections, Spring, and Spring Boot.
