Working from home. A ten-second commute. It allows for a very flexible schedule and contributes to a more fulfilling lifestyle.

IBMers are still a very dedicated bunch.

Working from home. I never met in person any of the people I worked with in my last stint at IBM. It required quite a bit of extra effort to maintain effective communication. I was very surprised at the dedication of IBMers, regardless of somewhat tenuous business environments.

Revert back to the days when employees were treated as real people and not simply as a resource (like a piece of furniture).

Make a conscious effort to change corporate culture to long-term goals versus quarterly stock price.
