Pros

Tech stack is better than you might expect.

They use the latest in cloud, artificial intelligence, and other skills.

Cons

All things claimed to be done by Silicon Valley will be summarily implemented, regardless of whether they apply to the specific situation. You'll spend much more time on compliance than productive work. Pay is at the lower end of what you could get. There are no raises or bonuses. Health insurance is more costly than average, barely less than hourly contract workers. HR will not share this publicly because it is so bad. They have an agile environment. You might find yourself like an ancient Egyptian slave building a useless pyramid under the whip of some under-educated "scrum master" who can barely turn on a computer.

Advice to Management

Stop trying to assume and treat software engineers like worthless commodities. They are only commodities because you value them as such.
