Pros

Okay salary, with robust, self-paced, internal training, if you can find the time.

Cons

Constant pressure to work without billing by the partners who are getting commissions on the projects they sold using estimates that they cut to make the deal.

Fear that you will never get another project if you report them.

You are penalized if your project ends and you can't find another one.

Staffing is too overworked to help you.

The emphasis is on sales, sales, sales, and not delivery.

Benefits are horrible for such a large company.

Health insurance is extremely expensive and has high deductibles.

You will lay out thousands and thousands before anything gets paid.

I have only seen one "bonus" (GDP) in five years and it was less than 1%.

Raises were cut because of the inflation rate – rather counterintuitive.

Advice to Management

Stop drowning us in executive updates that do not pertain to our roles. The same goes for mandatory training for the skill du jour. Incentives for sales should include signing projects that leverage the current bench.
