IBM ISL had great people to work with. Good managers. Lots of tech to learn.
Opportunities to create whitepapers, patents, and innovate new products.
Low pay, high workload, and a low chance to utilize leaves (unofficial leave policy).
Low chance of lateral moves to different tech roles.
Update the GOM (internal Job posting & recruitment process). Make it more employee-friendly and transparent, so more people can stay and work in different TECH areas after learning them, rather than looking for opportunities outside. Promote the culture of taking care of health (mental included). Ask employees to utilize their leaves. Decompressing is essential. Bring in cross-team help to automate menial tasks and help reduce workload and improve productivity. Please increase the pay for employees.
