Very quiet environment, at least at maintenance support. You have very good home working policies. There is no better place to work than your own house/apartment. The managers are also very good.
Regarding the conditions, the payment here in Argentina is very low, as in most companies, but a bit lower than the average. It's not enough to get to the end of the month and save to buy whatever you want, such as a car, a house, or to start your own business.
The hiring conditions are very bad. After you pass the IBM interviews and examinations and they tell you you were successful, they then say, "Oh, we forgot, the hiring is through a consultancy company we work with." Most employees at IBM Argentina are hired by third-party companies.
Everything is okay, but the company is so bureaucratic. Maybe that's why times are flexible.
The interview was conducted virtually. They asked me questions about my academic background in the field of programming. I cannot add anything about the practical part, as I did not reach that stage. Regarding the questions, they were quite good; it
It was tricky, but moderate, and I was able to crack the interview and passed to the next round of the exam for the given company. Unsuccessfully, I did not pass it and didn't get the offer letter.
Virtual round. It consisted of coding-related questions, reasoning, and questions based on the resume. Knowledge of Java and DSA was asked. The difference between classes and objects, application of stacks, and OOP concepts were covered.
