Pros

You can get certs and free training for certs. That's about the only pro about the rocket center.

Cons

I have never worked for a company that exploits its employees like this one does.

They mandate 80-hour weeks, but the minimum is "44" hours, and you only get paid for 40.

There is zero compensation for overtime.

Rocket Center Management is so out of touch with reality. They hire from outside the area, and when those employees leave, they think it's because they aren't from here. They leave because you might make $45,000, so they are targeting locals to exploit, believing they won't leave.

Management also wastes money on "video game nights," resulting in zero holiday bonus like a respectable company gives.

Rocket Center is a revolving door with a 50% or more turnover rate. Employees never stay because the pay is Band 4, but they list you as Band 11, and you work 80 hours every single holiday, seven days a week.

They do not look into why a project was lost; it's deemed your fault, and you will be punished.

You feel like a slave and can't stand up for yourself because you fear losing your job. It's "yes master" and that's it.

Salary is modern slavery.

I could go on, but read the rest of the reviews... nothing has changed in the last 3+ years.

Advice to Management

Fire current upper management because they are out of touch with reality and milking and filling their pockets while working about 40 hours a week, while their slaves do all the work. Get management that sees the only way to keep employees is to ACTUALLY PAY THEM RESPECTABLE WAGES.
