It has awesomely flexible work timings and great work-life balance, which includes some extra fun activities done within projects. This may differ from project to project, but IBM has well-established projects that are great to work on.
It might sound horrifying, but it's the bitter truth. You need to extend your work timings in order to meet your project deadlines.
This isn't true unless you're a Senior Engineer or a project manager.
My advice is to have market-competent salary figures, even for the engineers who are working at IBM, apart from the managers. It's obvious that everyone knows they get paid up to the mark.
The first stage consisted of a written test with around 20 general questions about Java and OOP. The second stage was a face-to-face technical interview with a senior developer. They asked about university projects and also more specific Java-relate
Total 5 rounds. 1st was Aptitude & Coding: easy to moderate. 2nd was Coding: moderate to hard. 3rd was GD: easy. 4th was Technical Interview: easy to moderate. The last one was HR: easy.
Got a phone call from the hiring manager. Then one simple phone interview, an online aptitude test, and two other technical phone interviews!
