Workload is heavy for client-facing roles. The hike is very little. There is no transparency on promotion criteria or onsite assignments. Your people manager is also your HR manager. There is pressure on employees to maintain 100% utilization. Frequent weekend working is required to deliver work on time, and you may need to work on weekends if you take sick leave or unplanned leave. In and out timings are checked in a few projects by management, but not by IBM.
Empower, do not micromanage. Be transparent and fair. Lead with clarity and purpose.
