Cannot find one. You can learn here how to have your time wasted, how to waste others' time, how to work with arrogant/damaged seniors/middle dev/students, and join politics afterwards.
People come and go, management never changes; it is promoted to a higher hierarchy. Current employees are not receiving incentives, always having to deal with the no-employee-retention unwritten rule, no raises, and new employees being hired. The company rewards the people that "play the game"; your skills do not matter.
Salary way below the average pay for the role, no raise, no technical growth, lots of useless corporate "tasks", and micro-management in weekly bookings. There are way too many meetings.
God forbid you receive a project with a team assigned only on that one project for decades! The arrogance and the waste of time that people in management in this company are willing to offer, only to keep an old project where they cannot change the other many years old team, is completely absurd.
Project Managers that are always happy to throw another log on the fire when the building is burning, staying in their positions for years, must be changed urgently!
Obsolete software, low number of vacation days. Working with Germans shows you IBM has such a thing as a personal holiday for employees there, but for Romania, overtime is paid only for those few preferred persons.
Hire competent HR. Recommendations from employees should be taken into consideration, not only from the one person preferred by management.
Do not hire based on gossip. It is not only unethical but it causes problems down the road, and you just add one more thing to the dirty politics that already exist.
Change people in management positions. Change the confused senior leadership, but not by promoting them.
If non-management employees come and go, and the direction is still not moving forward, guess where the change should be made.
Motivate your employees, bring better technologies, stop the toxicity, and do your job!
First round: Coding Assignment Given two programming questions, which were previously solved programs on HackerRank, I completed both programs with 100% test case passes. However, I was still not shortlisted for the interview.
It was all about number series questions. It was a pretty good experience, to be honest. Around 50 questions of number series. Each question had a 1-minute timer. You can't go back to previous questions. So be careful about that.
The discussion primarily focused on the projects, the tech stack used, and common questions about the project. I was asked to write a feature and its code implementation, and to clarify if it was built independently.
