Pros

Most peers are intelligent, hard-working, and respectful. Some of the best folks to work with.

Cons

Executives care only about lining their own pockets and very little about the folks doing the work.

Bonuses are almost non-existent, as are raises and promotions. Neither good work nor hard work ensure job safety. If profits don't meet expectations, everyone is at risk of being cut.

Advice to Management

Cut a few layers of middle-upper management. Get fresh blood in the executive suite. Focus on core products and innovate new products to become future cash cows. Quit trying to be a jack of all trades and don't lay off folks on the bottom – they're not the reason profits aren't what you expect.
