Work on real-life projects. This literally means working on projects that have a real-world impact, not just projects you complete to get a certificate and then consider them done.
You will work a lot.
I got an online LeetCode assessment where I was given two easy-medium LeetCodes to do in a 30-minute time window. I then got an in-person interview where I was asked some questions on computer science concepts.
Online assessment which had two LeetCode easy/medium problems. Then an interview with two engineers that had a mix of behavioral resume questions as well as technical find-the-bug/maybe a whiteboard coding problem.
This was a 3-hour online assessment, with standard LeetCode-style questions. There was also a section to construct a front-end webpage, given this was a front-end position. The interview was a single 45-minute technical interview.
