Pros

IBM pays well, offers you opportunities to learn new technologies, and will help you further your education with a Master's Degree.

Cons

In IBM, it sometimes takes a long time to get something approved by 'legal', or for the paperwork to go through for a project. This is very frustrating sometimes, and the efficiency of IBM as a whole could be greatly improved if they worked on this.

Advice to Management

The management at IBM is, as all managements are, I suppose, concerned mostly with making money.

In my experience, even when they want to make money, they don't listen to the engineers or programmers at the bottom level to find out how to best improve a product in order to make more money.
