Pros

IBM has excellent people management processes, where systems define many things apart from ratings.

IBM's policies were employee-friendly.

We get a lot of opportunities to learn at IBM. There were Udemy-like online learning subscriptions provided free to employees to study any course.

Cons

Salaries won't grow much. You may sit with the same salary for years, or maybe with a 3 to 4% hike on average if you are a star performer in every quarter.

You won't get experience to travel or visit different places because IBM has a strong employee presence in almost all countries. Opportunities outside your home country for you will be very less, unless you are a manager or a tester.

Advice to Management

Management should recognize its employees who have been loyally working for years and should try to achieve their aspirations.
