Great technology company, but it is a rollercoaster ride!
- Very competitive pay.
- Very knowledgeable and collaborative teams.
- All kinds of online educational courses to take and get certified, or to just learn about something new.
- Must be located near an IBM office, although some still do work from home.
- Tend to close various Europe offices and then restart somewhere else, causing existing teams to cover until new offices can be staffed and trained.
- Constant layoffs cause a lot of turnover and anxiety for many.
- Employees are doing the work of 2-3 people, which gets very old. They need to hire more people.
Re-invest in your greatest asset (your employees) and stop catering to short-term goals of stockholder dividends. There needs to be a better balance!
