Needs to improve... a lot
Work at your own pace; it's not a stressful job and makes it easy to reconcile with your personal life. The mission of my current project is incredibly interesting at the world level.
We like to say, "we work like a startup," but it's not. We must improve a lot of cultural aspects. Too many middle managers don't help so much, and your career is an unpaved road, so don't expect too much help from them.
We have to improve communications a lot. Not all the relevant engineers are PowerPoint engineers, and most of us are pulling tons of details to achieve a decent level of quality, which is expected from a company like IBM.
