Interesting projects to work on. Great collaborative environment - knowledgeable people to work with. Good for your resume. Fine if you're starting right out of school - get in, stay 2 to 3 years, and then get out.
I started working for another corporation that was subsequently acquired by IBM.
Following this, the pay increases stopped – not a single cost of living increase over 3 years!
Work evaluation system is ridiculous. Even if you're ranked at the top (i.e., PBC 1), you are not guaranteed a fair cost of living increase.
Don't just reward your top executives. Treat all your employees fairly.
