IBM is a big company. This means every department is different. My experience was decent; I started my IT career here. IBM will always be around in some form. As of right now, it is taking a new form and has some growing pains (as in restructuring pains).
IBM is on a rocky road at the moment.
Advice to those in charge of deciding cuts and hiring.
Get a new strategy. The current strategy is not working.
