Pros

IBM builds education and training into your daily job. This means they not only encourage you to stay current, but they back it up by giving you real work hours to complete training.

Education is provided via numerous weekly webinars given by Subject Matter Experts across an expansive list of subjects (e.g., Quantum computing to Growing Your Career). Education is also available through an endless catalog of up-to-date online curriculum, classes, and funded attendance at IBM and non-IBM Conferences, as well as funded classes/curriculum from outside IBM. These classes lead to certifications (also funded) and badges.

I've even attended classes at Harvard. IBM is truly the place to grow your skills and your career.

Cons

IBM is pivoting its solutions to support a hybrid multi-cloud strategy. This is good, but at times the transition brings frustrations.
