Cons

Vacations should be requested at least one or two months in advance because this affects something they call forecast. This is annoying when planning your vacations.

Some managers want you to always give the extra mile, but they don’t have the same commitment when it comes to helping you grow in your career or get a salary increase.

Make sure you are going to enter with a good salary. It is really hard to get a significant salary increase once you enter the company.

Annual performance evaluation (checkpoint).

The salaries (at least in software engineering) are way too low compared to other tech companies in CR, even small companies.

The technology used in some business units is outdated. They don’t like to use cutting-edge technology.

My team was a little bit disorganized: no QA nor DevOps team, no coding standards, and some projects are a mess.

Monthly payment.

Advice to Management
