Process

Hangouts interview, then an on-site interview at the main office with paired interviews and lunch. It had a nice structure. The questions weren't too hard. Basic knowledge of how websites work is essential. Questions about testing objects, cookies, websites, HTTP, and indeed pages were included.

Questions

How does HTTP work? How are search results returned? Analyze an API response page. How would you test a coffee mug? Christmas lights? SQL exercise: Write a simple query using AND/OR. Troubleshoot a database diagram and a blank screen: Why aren't results returned? How do cookies work in different domains? Logged in and out? Which is harder: Salary estimation or extraction from web pages? How to test?
