On-campus interview. Instead of a phone round, we had it on campus. There were 2 rounds, each half an hour. The questions were the same as from previous Indeed interviews, but one question was new:
If you are given a paragraph of string text as input to a function, segregate the words, find the first duplicate word in the paragraph, and return it.
In an Excel sheet, the topmost row has A, B, C... Z, AA, AB... AZ, BA, BB... BZ. Consider A as 1, B as 2... Z as 26, then AA as 27, AB as 28. The input for the function would be an integer, and you need to find its equivalent text.
Hints provided by the interviewee: hash map, one divide, one modulo, StringBuilder with append function.
I will post further questions if I get calls for other interviews.
As mentioned above.
