Software Engineer Interview Experience - Toronto, Canada

Process

The interview process consisted of a one-screen phone call, a technical interview, and then a half-day interview.

The half-day interview was exhausting to do virtually. Your eyes get very tired looking at the screen, and there was not even consideration for a washroom break.

When I gave them this feedback, they said, "Yeah, we are different than other places." I don't understand; even Google has a 15-minute break between their interviews!

If you reach the final interview, you receive some Instacart swag, which is nice.

They also give a $25 gift card that is only valid if you are based in the States. Why bother interviewing Canadian candidates?
