I applied via Intel's career website. A few days later, my application was selected, and Intel conducts its first screening of a candidate, where the hiring manager takes a formal technical phone/VC interview. This was a really great interaction I had with the manager. All questions were technical, covering OS concepts, system-level design in hardware and software, RTOS, and thorough resume-based questions.
After moving to the next round, four more technical rounds were conducted, purely on hardware design and embedded systems, and of course, coding rounds focused on bit manipulations, strings, data structures, and algorithms.
Then, I moved forward to hiring manager rounds and an HR round, followed by an offer proposal.
Operating systems, RTOS, Datastructures, Multilevel threading, Bit manipulation, BIOS, Bootloader, Coding rounds on strings and bits.
