Process

The interview process included four rounds of technical questions, followed by a behavioral lunch interview with the hiring manager. It was a straightforward and relatively stress-free experience.

If you find yourself stuck, don't give up. The interviewers will usually offer a hint or two. Pay attention and build on that feedback, as they genuinely want you to succeed.

Questions

For experienced candidates, the behavioral questions are pretty trivial. Just be yourself.

Mostly questions like, "Tell me about a time when..." and "How did you improve XYZ?"

These are easy questions if you have some mileage on your tires.

The technical questions for the other rounds are specific to the area you are interviewing for.

For Logic CAD, expect to:

  • Code some Verilog
  • Design a state machine
  • Answer maybe one or three coding questions
  • Answer digital logic questions

Just brush up on some Python/Perl, digital logic design, parsing log files, and writing glue logic in scripts.
