Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Haifa, Israel
Process
Approximately 1-1.5 hours.
Pretty standard.
Reasonable technical questions. I had time to learn about the position and talk about my job experience.
What I have to say about Intel is, I expected them to send back at least an email stating that they hired someone else and would keep my details for future interest, or something similar. I never got a response.

Intel Work Experiences
- 3.0Good technology, good engineers, rigid culture, dull atmosphereSenior Software Engineer • Current EmployeeSanta Clara, California, United StatesMay 14, 2014Pros: Many very smart people, lots of projects and areas to work in. Location choice (between California, Oregon, Arizona, Massachusetts, and a few smaller sites). Option to work from home at least some days.Cons: A lot of bureaucracy: * Weekly and monthly status reports. * Not a lot of initiative. Ultimately, it's a manufacturing company, so that side of the business dictates the rules. A lot of collaborative work involves participants in different sites and countries, so meetings, including regular ones, can be scheduled at odd hours. Massive buildings full of grey cubicles.
