Software Developer Interview Experience

Process

Applied online via the Intel Job portal.

One round of telephonic interview with the Senior Manager. This round focused mostly on my resume and projects, with some basic knowledge testing.

Received a call for an on-site visit. I had 5 rounds of one-on-one interviews with senior software developers. They covered Object-Oriented concepts, XML, Java, data structures, algorithms, and design concepts. Each round included whiteboard coding (moderate difficulty). The process was very good, and the interviewers were friendly and helpful (they knew what to expect from a graduate student).

A lunch session with the manager discussed the team and culture.

Received an offer by email the same week.

Questions

Few of the coding questions were on memory level.

For example, how to test for a stack overflow in Java via a simple code.
