I went through the Intel India interview process during placements at our college. There was CPI-based shortlisting, followed by four rounds of interviews.
The first round was based on C++, C, and Java basics, along with coding questions and some questions about projects I had done.
The next round was again a technical round, where they asked me to solve puzzles, do some coding problems, and engage in a detailed discussion on research projects.
The third round was more of a behavioral round. We were given situations and asked to respond with what we would do in those scenarios.
Everyone else went through one more round, but I was only interviewed for three rounds and then sent back. I thought I had been rejected. Finally, when the results were declared, I was selected :)
Coding some puzzles and the behavioral round was unexpected.
