Process

Had day-long interviews starting from 8 am to 4 pm. I was interviewed by members of the hiring team and sister teams.

Each interviewer asked questions on different topics, all related to the skills required for the job. Since it's a processor company, more stress was given to architecture and micro-architecture-related questions.

Questions

  1. How C++ compilers implement polymorphism.

  2. Explain all the advanced compiler optimizations I am aware of.

  3. About superscalar architecture, cache coherence, pipelining, and out-of-order execution.
