Software Engineer Student Interview Experience - Haifa, Israel

August 19, 2014
Neutral ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The first interview was mostly technical questions with two friendly employees. They first explained about the group and asked me to present myself. Then, they asked me to implement sorting algorithms and to solve a riddle at the end, which was of average difficulty.

The second interview was mostly personal questions, which were fairly unrelated to the job.

Questions

I had to solve a matrix problem.

One interviewer had a solution in mind and kept adding restrictions to my algorithms until he arrived at his solution, even though my first solution was more time-efficient.
