Pros: Aggressive company that seems intent on catching up on the SOC fiasco of about 8 years ago. It still makes the best desktop and laptop CPU/GPUs in the world.
Cons: Colluded with other companies to keep salaries low for more than 15 years.

It was okay
Web Developer • Former Employee
Austin, Texas, United States
February 13, 2012
Pros: It's a really big company. Compensation is high considering what you don't do. If you like big companies, then you should really consider working here.
Cons: The big corporation feeling is too impersonal to me. It's a very typical desk job, in a cubicle, with a 9-to-5 workday. I can't stand it. The cafeteria food sucks.
