Pros

Benefits packages are very good, as are profit-sharing and stock benefits.

Most department managers are more than generous when it comes to work/life balancing and flexibility with work schedules, though this largely depends on the individual manager.

There are many perks and services available to employees, from on-site dry cleaning or massage to day care to raffles for concert tickets, etc.

Cons

Salaries are fairly pathetic for the expertise and performance required by Intel to be considered a "valued employee". The annual review system is archaic, cumbersome, and requires a distribution. Even in a group of high-performing employees, the manager must deliver one for burnt offering.

Advice to Management

Get rid of the Ranking and Rating system, you overpaid morons. It doesn't work; it never has.
