Pros

Intel is, or at least was, a great place to work. There is a lot of care for the employees and for those who are leaving as part of voluntary separation packages. There is a big variety of opportunities to change and to develop personally and professionally.

Cons

Intel is currently struggling for its life.

This is felt in a lot of insecurity about tomorrow.

It has to improve its working procedures and habits at all levels to become more efficient.

Advice to Management

People who applied for VSP should not be made to stay and work.

There is a lot of opportunity for different aspects of work to become more automated. This should be the first priority, and the change should be top-down.
