Benefits and compensation are great. Long-term employees always see that. Exciting opportunities and work are always challenging, but that depends on what you're working on. The cafeteria is not bad, and in some buildings, it's awesome. It's an old campus, so expect some facilities to be aging. Nevertheless, it's really a Great Place To Work, as long as you have a great manager.
It's not for everyone.
And the way the company is structured, you always fall into the trap of only knowing the thing you're working in and lack the bigger picture point of view. The hiring process can be too lenient, so expect to have incompetent people or people with poor teamwork spirit joining you.
Some managers can be too aggressive, but I guess that's a good thing, else some of the Gen-Y will never learn.
Keep it up.
From my own interview experience and that of my friends, the type of questions asked, to a small extent, depends on the domain in which your to-be team works. For freshers/interns, the questions are more or less on the subjects they studied in colleg
I had two interviews on Zoom, and in both, there were two interviewers. In the first interview, I was asked to implement `malloc` in C. In the second interview, I was asked to implement something else, also in C.
I interviewed through campus placements. At first, there was an aptitude test, followed by shortlisting from resumes, then a technical interview, and finally an HR interview. The overall experience was satisfying.
