The cost of leaving Dublin makes this big fuss about big tech in Ireland simply a dangerous place to come to work

Pros

Intel: Great colleagues. Great learning experience, probably unique.

Cons

Ireland's policies toward big tech and technology companies are shameless. Companies pay 30% of their taxes, while employers pay up to 55-62%. The cost of living is crazy, with zero consideration for the basically nonexistent housing market where you should be ready to waste up to 60% of your already low salary.
