Pros

Good company benefits for all employees.

Cons

Stressful working environment, biased management (only supporting preferred employees).

Need to help other departments with their work (such as finance, engineering, operations).

No clear job scope.

Manager likes to commit to extra work on behalf of employees.

Management lacks proper direction, guidance, and goals.

Manager is not responsible and did not play their role well; when things happen, they push subordinates to answer management. Why do I need a manager then?

Work-life is not balanced; managers expect you to work on weekends or after work.

Advice to Management

Please take a look at the manager level. Make sure all managers play their role, not just talking and passing work to their subordinates. Besides, please eliminate manager bias culture, where they only listen to their favorite employees.

Too many managers at Intel are all talk and no work, which is not productive. You can consider reducing the quantity of managers.

Besides, you need to revisit Intel's culture. Most employees like to push their own work to others.
