Local teams are very focused and team spirit is very high.
There is good friendship and cooperation between team members.
Division and corporate level management is bad. There is too much focus on short-term, quarter-to-quarter progress and no long-term focus. The result is that key market changes are completely missed, and the company keeps playing a catch-up game.
Know that the employees make up an organization, not the products and services the company produces. Try to keep talented employees who have depth of knowledge and do not focus on short-term goals. Do not fire experienced staff and hire new grads just to cut costs.
