Environment, knowledge you can get, and the benefits are amazing!
Haven't seen any cons so far.
Communication with the recruiter was pretty good via email. I had a phone screening first, and then within about two weeks, I received an interview. Unfortunately, I got a rejection about two weeks after the interview.
Asked about: * CA (like memory hierarchy, I/O) * OS (like IPC, process and thread, Mutex, deadlock, metaphor, virtual memory) * C (like static, global) * OOP * Cache * Binary search * Difference between embedded C and C++
Technical interview via phone, where challenging questions in English were asked to measure technical proficiency. Previously, there was a screening call, also in English. Following this, a written examination was conducted on-site.
