I gave a 30-minute presentation on my thesis. I answered one question, then went into five 1:1 meetings with the people to whom I gave the talk. A few weeks later, I was given an offer.

I had a phone interview, and then the next day, I was called for an on-site interview. I was asked about my previous experience, with not many technical questions.

Rigorous but very relevant. No gotcha questions. No unnecessary algorithms and data structure questions that test your memorization skills. A healthy focus on career goals and approach to problem-solving. Loved it, actually. Not something I would say
