Still a great company; it needs to work on employee morale
In terms of innovation and being on the cutting edge, Intel really can't be beat. We are still head and shoulders above most of our competitors when it comes to manufacturing. Our ability to move from one processor generation to the next within 3 years is always an amazing achievement.
We have moved away from most of the qualities that made this place a great place to work. We continue to work engineers to the point of exhaustion and rarely do we seem to be really appreciated. I don't believe our review process is a true representation of all we accomplish throughout the past year.
Work on getting back to inspiring people to do good work because they love the work they are doing, not because they earn a paycheck.
