Intel has been around a long time and pioneered many great technologies. Not too long ago, they were touting all their achievements, not only in what they make, but how they treat their employees and the workplace culture.
When I started, things were great; the best company I had worked for yet.
Intel is in a hard place right now. In the same way that viruses or small animals evolve and overcome by multiplying quickly en masse, TSMC evolved quickly by making many unsubstantial chips for their customers, while Intel continued to make their old-fashioned large and powerful chips for PCs. The devices that were once considered unsubstantial are now practical replacements for PCs, and Intel is having to do a course correction to catch the market trend.
Push foundry all the way, get cell phone chips out there, cell phone AI hardware and software.
Innovate new software/hardware stack to push further in the direction of market trends and leverage our businesses.
Very professional. They asked a variety of questions to gauge how I would react in a social situation, where my technical skills lie, as well as testing my creative thinking.
I applied online and was called in a week. The process and interview were pretty smooth and easier than I thought. I had four interviewers: * One asked technical questions. * Another assessed behavioral and personality traits. * The other explaine
Initially planned for 8 interviewers, then was scaled back to 4. After working out a coverage plan for the time I’d be away, a few of the interviews were held in a conference room while the others were in the cafeteria (lots of noise and distractions
