There are still great people working here, and we work on cool technologies.
Our product roadmap is a mess, and timelines are always too short.
Management can't make up their mind early enough for engineering to do their jobs.
Engineering organizations are cycling between hiring (we need to invest!) and laying people off (we need to cut costs!) without any regard for the actual skills of the teams. This makes it especially difficult to hit the unrealistic timelines from the scrambled roadmaps.
Invest in building a strong engineering company first, then apply the products and the roadmap.
Not particularly difficult compared to other software engineer interviews. It was more focused on culture fit and soft skills than LeetCode questions. Interviewers were helpful and didn't make me feel under pressure like some do.
Was referred by an employee. Received a call within a week. Only had a phone screen, which was an hour-long interview. Questions covered basic VLSI, synthesis, and scripting. UNIX/Linux and Git questions were also included.
It's simple and straightforward. Some basic questions from memory, semiconductor physics, and mixed-signal IC design. They don't expect an expert-level reply, but hope to have a clear basic understanding of your courses. Sometimes asks questions from
