No pros, except Linux open-source contribution.
The manager in this team is manipulating, cruel, and harsh. There is no trust or respect for human beings in this team. Engineers are being treated like slaves. No senior management will involve themselves to listen to the voice of the engineers. Not leaving room to learn and grow. I would never ever recommend joining this Hyderabad team, the VTT Linux GPU driver team. There are unrealistic expectations. This manager should be fired first. They are just saving their seat by screwing up the lives of engineers. Hire a detective to inquire about this team before joining.
Stop hiring the engineers. Don't hire the engineers. Hire with proper vision. Don't screw up the life of an engineer. Please clearly mention each and every point in the job description and hire accordingly.
I applied for two open requisitions and waited for a month to be contacted by HR. I went through four interviews for both positions. The questions were not too complicated, covering: * General C++ * High-level SoC architecture * Behavioral question
The interview went on for around 75-90 minutes. It started with introductions, company culture, and customer requirements. Initially, simple C/C++ code snippets were asked to determine the final output. Later, there were 3-4 questions regarding me
The interview process was short and straightforward. It covered questions from my resume, focusing on data structures and algorithms. There were also questions regarding the rendering pipeline and DirectX 11. The questions were not overly difficult.
