Pros

Interesting problems to work on, coupled with a track record of success.

When Intel executes well, you feel like you're contributing to making the world a better place, since it has such an impact on the entire computing industry.

I was proud to work there. I felt that my destiny was in my own hands.

Cons

The corporate culture prides itself on being confrontational. This can be a good thing, but sometimes the people that do the best are the ones that are the most confrontational (most visible in a fight).

Endless grey cubicle farms.

Internal competition can end up making you feel like a cog in a great machine. Stock has been in the doldrums for almost 10 years.

Advice to Management

Stop wasting a lot of money on ill-conceived marketing experiments like Viiv.
