Pros

Good core values; some genuinely passionate colleagues and top-notch engineering work in areas where it has developed under good management.

Cons

Lots of rigid hierarchy can sometimes get in the way of the company being more agile. It's hard to see them reclaiming their glory years without some serious disruption of the politics in play. The focal process doesn't explicitly reward teamwork.

Advice to Management

Revamp outdated annual review process so that it rewards the right behaviors.
