Pros

Company likely to be relevant for a long time.

Cons

Politics

Low compensation

Quality of recent hires is very low. Intel is not even on the map compared to Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, etc. It's hard to believe it was part of an (illegal) pact to not poach employees from each other. Most of Intel's employees today would not be employed at any of those companies, except for the top 1%.

Advice to Management

Remove BOD starting with the dinosaur Andy, who's expired a long time ago.

Remove most of the VPs.

This company was built with the sweat and tears of previous generations during the 80s, 90s, and 00s.

You are now dismantling its process leadership, what little architectural leadership it ever had, and the remnants of the great place to work it used to be.
