Pros

Excellent Benefits:

  • Health, Dental, Life Insurance
  • Managed Health Network
  • Sabbatical every 7 years or mini Sabbatical every 4

Extraordinarily focused on employee safety.

Free fruit and drinks.

Compressed work week with a 16% differential for night shift.

Cons

Training is good, but it can often be ignored or devalued.

There is a huge difference between groups within the company.

Research and Development is an engineering-driven group and can be hostile towards technicians/worker bees. High Volume Manufacturing is management-driven with engineering input and is much more suited towards the employee.

Advice to Management

Known personnel issues are often ignored, resulting in some animosity and tension in the workplace. The development of the 'good ol' boy club' on shift excludes a lot of people with a lot of expertise and talent.
