Pay is solid and the job is stable if you are a good employee. Good work-life balance (unless you are an engineer in the fab).
Raises and promotions are abhorrently inconsistent. New hires often start at a higher salary than people who have been working there for 5+ years. Many employee perks have been taken away in the last few years (great place to work, chip loaner, etc.).
