Pay and benefits make it hard to leave.
They will take advantage of hard workers. Same pay, same title, same job, but because you do what it takes to ensure your group, team, and boss all look good, you will endure additional restrictions like trying to schedule time off. Basically, your boss will come to solely rely on you to do everything anyone else is not doing what they are supposed to.
It's so bad that you'll only be allowed to take days off if one of the other hard workers hasn't scheduled a day off. From what I've seen, that equates to only about 20% of the team. So now you have the normal "no more than 3 people off at a time (from the whole group of 20)" and "no more than 1 person off from the group of hard workers (approx 4 people including yourself)."
You're supposed to reward your hard workers, not punish them. That is why we do it. That is why we don't just coast by.
All you're doing is going to make us quit or get fired because we have to call in sick just to take a day off. Sorry we care about making you look good.
I guess what we are really doing is covering for your poor management skills, which unfortunately appear to be so poor that you can't even see the near future of what happens when you do this to your hard workers.
I had a phone interview, followed by an in-person interview. They flew me out to Phoenix from San Diego and provided a rental car and hotel room. I then interviewed and was given lunch. I received a call back about a week later.
We just talked for around 40 minutes. They are pretty nice. Some of their responses regarding my answers were mean, but I can tell they were not intentional. The overall experience was pretty nice.
Application submitted under Veteran Opportunity. No job description was provided for Manufacturing Technician. Any EE could easily pass this interview. Portland is known for hiring "desirables"; apparently, an EE major, a Veteran, who passed 4/4 que
